Gemma helped us transition our 7mo to her cot and helped us to teach her to self settle. Before working with Gemma we were in a cycle of rocking our little one to sleep for all sleeps and having multiple night wakes. My partner and I had a zoom consultation with Gemma in the hopes to get our daughter to self settle. I was very apprehensive due to her reflux and I also worried about her getting upset when leaving her. Gemma took all of this into consideration when creating a sleep routine for us. She gave us advice on what we could do to support her in the lead up to bedtime to ensure that her tummy was as comfortable as possible to help with her reflux. I contacted Gemma as we were in a bit of a rut and I didn’t know what to do to improve my son's sleep routine as he was getting up multiple times in the night and not napping for long enough in the day. We reached out to Gemma a few weeks ago as we were really struggling with our little boy's sleep. He wasn't napping, was waking regularly throughout the night and we saw 5AM starts (if not earlier) every day. Gemma has given me advice and guidance a couple of times, and both times it been amazing and absolutely spot on. When my little one was going through a horrible illness (at about the 18 months) which massively disrupted her sleep, Gemma was able to rule out so many things and then gave us the confidence to persist with sleep coaching to get her back into a routine.
